Camp Motorsport is a unique race car driving sports specialty summer camp where campers participate in hands-on racing education at a real, live racetrack! Campers live in air conditioned dorms on-site at VIRginia International Raceway, nestled on 1300 acres of rolling hills & woods, complete with fishing pond, swimming pool, and playing fields in the Virginia countryside! Every camper drives every day!...and also enjoys the fun activities of a traditional summer camp such as sports, swimming in the pool...and more! It’s the most fun at camp you’ll ever have at the coolest camp on wheels!

Camp Motorsport offers two different programs:
Weeklong Kids Camp is for girls & boys, ages 9 to 16 years old, at all experience levels, from never-evers to those with many hours behind the wheel. Campers attend for one week sessions (Sunday to Friday), and are placed in age level groups (teams) so that driving activities are appropriate for each driver. No drivers license or prior experience is required. Each camper drives half-scale race cars and off-road go karts themselves. Campers can attend for multiple one-week sessions for a longer stay.
Adult/Child Weekend Camp is for girls & boys ages 8-16 attending with an adult. Campers attend for the weekend (Friday afternoon to Sunday morning). Both child & adult campers drive.
Combine programs: Adult/Child weekend programs can be added to the beginning or end of weeklong kids camps sessions, and one-week sessions may be combined for a multiweek stay.

 ...And then start your engine as you strap yourself in behind the wheel of a half-scale race car! This is as close to driving a real race car as you can get...only it’s your size! So put on your safety gear and learn the basics of safe driving...things you can use when you start driving for real. You’ll go through a slalom course, practice throttle-steer...and have the time of your life as you learn what it’s like to try to qualify on a track! After you’re done on the track, put your gear back on because you aren't finished driving for the day just yet!...get ready for more seat time as you strap yourself in again and drive the coolest off-road go karts for another exciting motorsport experience! ....and just when you didn't think camp could get any better, head off to your next cool camp activity, like taking a dip in the pool, fishing with your teammates, playing sports & games...and a whole lot more!!!
